March Maddness

We had a busy March with me starting to work and finishing my graduate thesis. Nate has been slammed at work and has been so busy but doing a great job! A few weeks back Gram Gram called and said she missed her Boo Boo and she hopped on a plane and came to see us. Jensen loved spending time with her and the only way it could have been better is if Papa (and Lucy!) came too! We are going to see them in Virginia in May for my graduation so that will be fun and we can't wait!

I even like to crawl in my crib!

Six months ago today I had my precious baby boy in my arms. This was of course after I unexpectedly went into labor and all the way to 7cm without an epidural (not by choice people). I remember thinking I had never seen such a lovely site as that anaesthesiologist! It was all worth it and I will never forget when I saw my baby boy. He was so serene and chill and 6 months later he still is. He is crawling, sitting up, talking, laughing, eating yummy food, and starting to take notice of the puppies. In the last month he has made HUGE strides in sleeping and is officially a big boy in his crib. We love him so much and are not quite sure what we did before him. We have no idea where his first 6 months of life went but we cherish every day we have with him.

I like to put my booty in the air and crawl with my arms to get my toys!

Jensen is on the move! In the last 2 weeks he has started to army crawl. We can't keep him in one place! I will be working in the kitchen and hear him grunting and growning and when I peak at Jensen to see what he is up to he is pulling himself with his arms and than his little butt goes in the air and than his legs follow. He looks so cute doing this. Sometimes he gets frustrated because he wants to move faster than he can. He is moving faster everday and we enjoy seeing him discover new skills. He will be crawling full force anyday so time to buy the baby gates!

So Many New Things

Jensen is growing so fast we just don't know where the time has gone. He is doing so many new and fun things like:

Pulling Lola Puppies Fur

Taking off my socks as fast as Mommy puts them on

Wearing my big boy Cubs outfit Sitting up

Other new things that Jensen is doing that I do not have pictures of is:

1. Army crawling to reach new and exciting toys

2. Crying when people try to hold him who are not Mommy and Daddy

3. Fighting going to bed (how could he be my child and not want to sleep???)

4. Reaching for Mommy to pick him up

He is so much fun and we are enjoying every new stage with him and feel so blessed to have him in our lives!

Hunk of Burning Love

Jensen got his 5 months pictures taken this past weekend. He has entered into a "shy" stage so he wasn't to friendly with the photographer (as you can tell) but we think he looks like our chubby angel and were pleased with the results. Jensen has a quiet spirit (thus far and except for bedtime) and is a very good baby. This may all end at 2 years old like it did for my parents with me! Will just have to see. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to spend time with him. He is just so much fun!!! I can't believe how fast the first 5 months have gone! Looking forward to the next 5 months too!
